Job Title: Gates and Barriers Engineer Location: Aylesbury (covering surrounding areas) Salary: £40,000 per annum About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gates and Barriers Engineer to join our team, providing expert installation, maintenance, and repair services across Aylesbury and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a self-motivated engineer with strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise in gates, barriers, and access control systems. Key Responsibilities: * Install, service, and repair a variety of automatic gates, barriers, and access control systems. * Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting, ensuring efficient problem resolution. * Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and safety compliance. * Deliver excellent customer service, advising clients on system operation and maintenance best practices. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and liaise with the office team to ensure effective scheduling and reporting. Qualifications & Experience: * Proven experience as a Gates and Barriers Engineer or similar role in automated access systems. * Strong technical knowledge of gate automation systems, barriers, and access control technology. * Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications are preferred. * Full UK driving license is essential. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
