Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator Based in the Aylesbury area, the company are an established and well-respected Electrical Building Services contractor, predominantly operating within the industrial and commercial fit out sectors, they provide a full range of Electrical services with typical project values ranging from £50k up to £1m. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their estimating team to help them support their current client base and continue with their growth plan. The company will support hybrid working as an option, typically 3 days in the office, and 2 days working from home. Key Responsibilities: Tendering electrical projects ranging from £20,000 - £1,000,000 Analyse project specifications, drawings, and related documents to ascertain the scope of work and necessary materials Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements to identify potential cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with project managers and the pre-construction team to gather relevant information for accurate estimates Review and assess bids and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Maintain and update a database of cost estimates and historical project data Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects Electrical Estimator - Required Experience and Key Skills: Minimum 5 years experience as an Electrical Estimator Experience in tendering electrical projects ranging from £20,000 - £1,000,000 Excellent communication and negotiating skills Salary and Benefits Package for the position of Electrical Estimator include: Base salary:£60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience Hybrid working option - Typically 3 days in the office, and 2 days working from home.
