Mechanical Estimator

Senior Mechanical Estimator Based in central London, the company are a leading and highly-respected Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor, and d ue to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator / Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their estimating team. Operating across various sectors including, commercial fit out, residential, hospitality, data centres, education and healthcare, the company provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services with typical project values ranging from £500k up to £10m. Key Responsibilities: Tendering mechanical services projects ranging from £500,000 up to £10,000,000 Analyse project specifications, drawings, and related documents to ascertain the scope of work and necessary materials Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements to identify potential cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with project managers and the pre-construction team to gather relevant information for accurate estimates Review and assess bids and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Maintain and update a database of cost estimates and historical project data Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects Mechanical Estimator - Required Experience and Key Skills: Minimum 8 years experience as a Mechanical Estimator Experience in tendering mechanical building services projects ranging from £500,000 up to £10,000,000 Excellent communication and negotiating skills Salary and Benefits Package for the position of Mechanical Estimator include: Base salary:£80,000 - £90,000 depending on experience Annual Bonus Private Healthcare Pension options Company events Phone and Laptop 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Training and Development opportunities The company also provide a very enjoyable, supportive, and rewarding working environment, as well as genuine career progression opportunities.
