CNC Engineer

A role has arisen for an experienced CNC Machine Tools Engineer. The role would suit either a CNC Programmer, CNC Service Engineer or CNC Maintenance Engineer or CNC machine tool fitter/assembler.

As this job is factory-based it is suitable for a CNC service engineer who wishes to reduce travel and staying away. 38 hours week.

The role involves testing CNC machines i.e. pre-delivery testing and inspection of new CNC machines before being shipped to the customer.

The Role

• Install CNC machines in factory and showroom
• Carry out test procedures and document findings
• Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
• Write SOPs
• Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

Requirements

• Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship
• Strong knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
• You will likely have been a CNC Programmer, CNC service engineer, CNC fitter assembler or CNC maintenance engineer
• Working on lathes and machining centres
